Dredging in Action ~ 23rd April 2007

All forestry work has now been completed and dredging should be finished at the end of this week. 10,000 cubic metres of material will have been taken out - which put back into the canal 10,000,000 litres of water!! The contractors will next be upgrading Denton Wharf car park and access track.

All the trees here were either dangerous or diseased. It will regenerate and opening it up will allow for wildflowers to colonise
